My Name is Marco Richter as you might have noticed from the domain name. I have been in Internet Marketing since September 1998 when I was developing business sites for customers and some for my own.

It all started with a site that listed job-offers during the dot-com boom. That was real fun back then. After being self-employed for more than 8.5 years, I was offered the position of an Affiliate Manager with a financial agent company.

So I do blogging part-time at the moment, but as I really love it, I will give my very best for you - my readers.

Dot Com Tycoon
You wonder, why the title and header say … dot com tycoon? That´s kind of a joke, but it does reflect the goals, I´m having for the future. Please read my very first post to find out, what that means.

Some private data
I am 32 years old now, and have wonderful daughter named Julia. She is now 5 years old and makes my day - everyday.
My girlfriend Mirjam is 37 years old and works for a federal agency

What to expect
On marcorichter.net, I want to offer valuable information about all aspects of blogging and Internet Marketing, especially for those being new to all of this. I really know that it can be hard and frustrating to get into this at the beginning. So my blog is intended to deliver tipps & tricks on running your own blog and make it successful.
I´ve been running another blog before - fitforfreedom.com - but I had to shut it down and restart with marcorichter.net for some reasons.
