Increase Blog Traffic Series

This is something, I´m going to introduce to this blog as well immediately. Asking your readers questions gets them into the conversation and can help build up your reputation as an expert in your niche.

Establishing an Answers to readers questions section on a regular basis provides several advantages to your readers, your blog and you.

Your readers
can get quick help with their problems. This would require you to come up with an answer in short time. If they know, they can ask you anytime and will receive a quality answer to their questions, they will love to come back to your blog and read more of your posts. Depending on how you put this in place on your blog, you could offer them a link to theirs as a motivation to ask more questions. See my offer on this below.

Your blog
receives a more community-style touch by getting your readers involved in it instead of just more or less passively consuming the information you provide. As a side benefit of this, your readership will grow up to new levels if you manage to keep up answering your readers questions regularly.

You
probably ran into a situation where you didn´t know, what to write about next somewhen in your blogging time. If you have a handful of open, yet unanswered questions from your readers at hand, you´ll never run out of topics to write about.
Plus, if you manage to provide professional and helpful answers you will widen you reputation as an expert. Don´t let this chance go away. That´s what I´m doing now:

Ask me questions here

From now on, I will answer readers questions on my blog regularly. So, if you have anything, you always wanted to know about topics being covered here, e.g., blogging in general, linkbuilding or SEO with WordPress please leave a comment to this post, or contact me here.

I will do my very best to answer your questions fast and will write a post with your answer.
Plus: I will put a link to your blog into the answer post, so don´t forget to leave your URL together with your questions.

    nice post :) thanks

  2. Crystal Says:

I have a question: does removing the nofollow tags on your blog get more people commenting on your posts, or does it just increase spam?

  3. Marco Says:

Crystal, being a “dofollow”-blog can make more people comment on your posts, as they get a link as an incentive. Spammers are looking for those blogs having removed the nofollow tag, so you better have something like akismet installed, which comes free with WordPress.

  4. Neil Galloway Says:

I am still using the nofollow tag on my site, but I will link back to faithful commenters and such. I’m a very low volume of comments and traffic though. Depends on the size of your blog I guess.
