Linktrains - good or evil?

If you are reading one or more blog on a somewhat regular basis, you have probably seen one or more variations of a link train, which can be called some kind of modern chain letters.

I have collected some links for you about link trains. So you can get your own picture, whether participating in link trains is a good idea or not.

    I’ve never participated in a link train, and my personal opinion is that they’re a bad idea. That being said, several bloggers that I respect have used link trains and I think it is a personal choice that’s not right or wrong. I don’t see link trains as adding any real value to my readers, so I choose not to use them.

    That is exactly the point steven, in most cases, there is no benefit for the readers.
