So, here is my brand-new personal website. The about-me section tells you who I am, so I will skip that part here.

What you can expect from this site

The plan for this site is to create a one-stop-resource for everyone in game-development for iOS. As I am fairly new to making games for the iPhone, I´d like to share my learnings and help others who happen to start developing games themselves. There are tons of tutorials, resources and other stuff out there and I am going to share them here, but will also add my own learnings and create helpful tutorials from them.

There will be an interview section here, where I am going to publish interviews not only with larger studios, but also with indie-developers. Feel free to contact me, if you like to get interviewed and share your views and experiences with others.

What I´m planning for 2012

I started to create my first iPhone-game in August 2011 when I bought my first iMac. After publishing a puzzle-game “Smiley-Roll” in September, I made a small arcade-game named “Hexatris” a few days before christmas.

Currently I am working on my third game “City Snake” which combines a slider-puzzle with the classic 90s-snake-gameplay. I hope to publish this game in March 2012. (Of course, I will let you know – you could click on the Twitter icon on the right – or here – and follow me. )

Having stopped blogging in late 2008, I want to restart that with this site. And I have registered for a new Twitter account (#MarcoRichterNet) as I also want to get a little more social this year. Maybe I could visit on of the major conference this year, depending on available funds for the trip.
